Reception Readiness

This resource has been developed by Greenwood Academies Trust in collaboration with the Early Years teams at Beacon Primary Academy, Mansfield Primary Academy, Newark Hill Academy, and Seathorne Primary Academy.

A leaflet is available to download below aimed at helping children become ‘Reception Ready’, based on the key skills we believe support a smooth start to school.

It features clickable links to short videos, each focusing on one of four key areas: communication, awareness, life skills, and motor skills. Additional links to trusted external resources are also included.
