A National First for Queensmead Academy
Greenwood Academies Trust is delighted to congratulate Queensmead Primary Academy, who have become the first school nationally to receive the National Energy Action (NEA) Fuel Poverty Aware School Award. The new Award recognises schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting pupils and their wider communities through the delivery of fuel poverty and energy efficiency advice.
This prestigious award recognises schools that are taking meaningful steps to understand and address the impact of fuel poverty on children and families. Queensmead’s achievement highlights the academy’s commitment to creating a caring, inclusive environment where pupils are supported to thrive, both in and beyond the classroom.
We are extremely proud of the staff and wider school community for this pioneering achievement, which reflects our shared Trust values and commitment to supporting every child and family.
Congratulations to everyone involved on this fantastic national recognition.
