Coronavirus Information: UPDATE
On Monday, the Government provided updated advice in order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, including more robust self-isolation guidance for households. This included specific advice for vulnerable people, who the Deputy Chief Medical Officer specified as adults who are advised to get the flu vaccination due to underlying health conditions.
As always, the health and wellbeing of our pupils, staff and the wider school community, is our absolute priority. While the latest advice regarding vulnerable people specifically relates to adults, we respect and support any decision by parents and carers of vulnerable children to keep their child at home during this unprecedented time.
We are committed to providing all our pupils with the best possible education. To ensure they can continue to do so safely, we are putting robust measures in place to minimise the disruption that we recognise this may cause families, and to ensure our pupils will be able to continue their education during this time.
We will continue to closely monitor and update our parents and carers with the latest Government advice. More information regarding vulnerable groups can be found on the Public Health England website.
