Expenditure on goods, services and works is a significant part of any Academy's overall budget. The Trust encourages open and fair competition and welcome bids from new and established suppliers. All contracts are awarded on the basis of value for money and although the Trust cannot discriminate in the favour of local companies, it is committed to encouraging local suppliers to compete for business.
The Trust sometimes take advantage of contracts that have been let by other central government departments or Local Authorities. In particular, we often use Frameworks award by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), Eastern Shire Purchasing Organisation (ESPO) and the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC).
Businesses and other organisations interested in supplying goods and services to the Trust can register to receive email alerts for all relevant contract opportunities on the day they are advertised by clicking here.
Should your organisation be invited to take part in the tendering process you will be able to download the documents from the portal and when you have completed your submission you will be able to upload your completed documents back to the portal.
The Trust’s Procurement Team welcomes emails rather than unsolicited sales telephone calls from contractors, suppliers and manufacturers detailing what services/products they offer. The Procurement Team can be contacted via email on firstname.lastname@example.org All emails of this nature are read and saved; we refer back to these emails when looking for suitable solutions or companies.
