Learning Assistant with Cover Responsibilities
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Assistant to join the Nethergate Academy
37 hours per week, term time plus two weeks (41 weeks)
£16,781 - £20,138 (pro rata £15,012 – £18,016 per annum)

The academy works with children and young people who have learning difficulties and complex needs and their families.
Nethergate Academy is a special academy in the City of Nottingham for 112 pupils with moderate and complex learning difficulties. The age range is from 5-19 years with a range of ability extending from P6 – L6. Many pupils have autism and some have SEMH needs.
You will be required to help with the organising and running of intervention groups across the academy and also cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher; including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time.

This role is for 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday and is required in term time plus two week; therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
