GCSE success for secondary academy students

Students at our secondary academies are celebrating after receiving results for their GCSEs or equivalent courses of study.

We have seen a steady improvement this year across the academies in general. There is a great deal to be confident about and they give us a firm basis for further improvement.

Click on the links below to read about the key success stories this year:

  • Kingswood Secondary Academy - for the first time the academy is above the new floor standard by which school performance is measured.
  • Nottingham Girls' Academy – results are up for the fourth consecutive year and are the best that the academy or the predecessor school has ever seen.
  • Stanground Academy - above the national averages for key measures after significant improvements in the number of pupils achieving good grades in English and maths.
  • Weston Favell Academy – results have significantly improved across the board so that they at the highest level that the academy, and the predecessor school, has seen in the last 10 years.

Once again we are proud of the success of our students and wish them all the best as they continue their education or enter employment.
