We are delighted to inform you that, following the recent full Section 5 Ofsted inspection, the Weston Favell Academy has now been removed from Special Measures.

The lead HMI Inspector was impressed with the process of the inspection and the significant improvements seen at the Academy.

Very pleasingly, Leadership and Management were both graded as 'good' due to the high quality leadership of the Principal, Mr Parry, and also to the capacity and support from the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust. The quality of teaching was of particular note, with a high percentage of lessons graded as 'good' or better.

A significant achievement for the Academy overall.
